Pass the Peas?

How dare you compare the performance of my son Jeremy to a bad school meal. The school should be applauded for stretching its pupils with this ambitious play. Despite the pompous posturing of The Gazette, the regional Educational Office compared my son's work to that of a young Gibson.

Wales Leads the Way

The Welsh football association should be praised for letting Caroline Hume play in the boys’ football team. Caroline will be playing for the Denbigh Town Juniors and will no doubt continue to contribute to the team. While Puckering’s own Irregulars are indeed fielding two women players at the moment, captain Nigel Morcombe could do well to learn some grace from the Welsh.
