The
Poisoned
Pen |
Exciting news on the village front as the Pen can report
on the re-establishment of the Puckering Amateur Players (PAP) and their intent to put on
a dramatic performance in the late summer. Whilst the production itself is still a matter
of intense discussion among the players, thoughts are clearly leaning towards a light
musical. Of course one does cringe at the thought of some of the rather limited
performances the Pen has witnessed at local affairs. You have not lived until you've seen
Waiting for Godot played by two actors who couldn't remember their lines. The Pen is still
haunted by the memory of the pensioners performance of Romeo and Juliet and an
octogenarian Romeo trying to climb the vine. All time best must have been a stage full of
howling and fighting cats added for colour in the production of the same name.
Which of the following do you think should never be attempted by amateurs? |
