Welcome to the Dining Room! It has
always served this purpose. In the 18th-century, this room would have been the
social centre of the house, with long and elaborate dinners served each evening.
Most of the furnishings in the room are Victorian. The portraits on the wall are of
Fanny Rawlins Blake, wife of the man that built Stoney Grove, and George Rawlins, her
half-brother. If you click on the portraits, you can learn more about the families. |
