Stoney Grove - Recent Findings
House Shirley Ann Simon Gazette Site Map		The owners of Stoney Grove have recently uncovered an oil painting that they hope may shed light on the early history of the house. As yet the painter and subject are unknown.  The artist's serious, mysterious subject hints at the hidden lives of Stoney Grove.
		This photograph shows the south face of the house, with its classical portico and octagonal bows, and the lake formed from the damming of the River Puck.
